As a Certified Master-level KonMari® Organizing Consultant, people in the Phoenix area hire me to help them declutter, organize and rethink their homes.

I’ve been asked time and again, “How did you become a KonMari® Consultant? Why be an organizer?” The truth is, I did this as an act of self-care. After years of struggling with depression, I took a leap of faith and asked for help in healing, learning how to cope with life’s stressors and finding good in the world again. I also knew it was time to get my house back in order. I had neglected myself, and my home, for far too long.

I was familiar with Marie Kondo’s book The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up. So, I turned to it yet again and dove in. It laid out a logical and emotional process, a perfect fit for me. I wanted to know even more, so I Googled and discovered Marie Kondo was training people in her method. With great effort and commitment, I could earn the title of Certified KonMari Consultant®.

Until my years of depression, I had been pretty tidy. So tidy, in fact, I received plenty of requests to help people organize! After decluttering and organizing my home and experiencing the satisfaction, pride and healing of creating a home I once again loved, I decided to become a professional organizer and help others feel the lightness and joy of tidying up.

These past seven years have been better than I could have dreamed. I am honored to do what I love and the best part is the connections and friendships I make with my clients. Some I have worked with for more than four years and some I work with for just a few weeks. They all hold a special place in my heart.
